Presented in celebration of International Women's Day, this program includes three keynote speakers, Chiaki Mukai (M.D., PH.D.), NASDA Astronaut, Charlotte Bunch, Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Women's Global Leadership at Douglass College, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and Sima Wali, President of Refugee Women in Development Inc. in Afghanistan. These presentations will be followed by a special video tribute to women astronauts and a slide presentation by Joan Roth featuring images of women who attended the U.N. International Women's Conferences in Nairobi and Beijing.

Participants attending the program will also be offered special tours of Museum halls where guides will highlight dioramas,
which focus on the contributions of women in various societies.

This program is cosponsored with the United Nations NGO Committee on the Commission on the Status of Women.
