The Civil Society and Outer Space Forum ended up in Vienna with a profound exchange of views on how important the newly developed applications of space technologies have become for the quality of our lives and what ecological and security dangers nowadays are connected to activities in outer space - developments that in future should be monitored closely by civil society at large. Read here the position paper adopted unanimously, which includes the recommendation to set up an NGO Committee on Outer Space Affairs in Vienna.
