The CONGO Committee of Youth Organisations, Geneva include members of the Committee are representatives of organisations that are youth NGOs or youth committees of NGOs, and that have ECOSOC status. The members of the Committee must be represented by a person under the age of 35 years in order to vote. Guests may be invited by the Committee to attend a meeting or a part of it. The purpose of the Committee is information sharing, networking, co-ordination with certain UN agencies (with a youth focus), and specific joint actions.
